Obviously ,it isn’t necesary to hunt in order to obtain food, so the majority of people indulge out of sport and thrill. Bears, Mountain Lions, Wolves, etc these are all not as populated as they were even a hundred years ago because of human interference, sport hunting, ignorance, farmers, development, habitat destruction, and too top that off during the early part of the 20th century deer were endangered due to over hunting
