The way I’m training my schnauzer Mika to do moving contacts, is that I place a jump bar at the base of the down contact so that the dog has to adjust her stride to jump over the bar.

“Most effective” …
“Most effective” totally depends on your dog. Running are often fastest but can be tough to maintain; 2o2o can be very clear for dog but is bad for a dog with improper angulation, etc. Sorry, but — it depends!

Awesome. See I’m …
Awesome. See I’m now complete with making my dogwalk, and Im makin the A frame and the teeter. My dog has been doing agility for about three months now, and I want to know what’s the most effective method: running contacts, 2o2o, or all four on the floor. My instructor Ann Croft want’s all four on the floor. But I hear some bad things about that method sometimes.
