  1. At least half of all people who get a dog do not keep it for its entire life. So for him to “never let this happen” to his dog’s pups, he will take any and all of them back and call every person at least every 6 months for the next 15 years to check up on them? I DON’T THINK SO. As I tell everyone I meet who wants to breed: if your dog has 6 puppies, and all find homes, that means that 6 shelter dogs will die because your puppies took those homes.

  2. At my local shelter at least 60% or more of the dogs up for adoption at a time are bully breeds. I’d love to adopt, but good luck getting an apartment with one!

  3. All that effort she went through and he clearly didn’t get it. It’s not that the puppies you -breed- might end up in shelters, it’s that the law of supply and demand means you’re putting more unnecessary dogs into an already clogged system. The people you sell your puppies to could have SAVED one of these poor dogs instead.

  4. Why y’all hating for? Dumb dog owners are just like almost every dumb human these days fucking each other and not knowing how to discipline a child correctly and they get stacked up in a foster home!!

  5. IKR? when i got my cat i realllly wanted to get one from a shelter but ooh no, my dad insited on getting her from a breeder. people are so cruel sometimes- perhaps not even knowing it.

  6. hes so stupid to see that you can never be sure where the puppies can end up. how does he think these dogs end up there?

  7. I hope that one of these days I can adopt a dog from a shelter. I don’t want to make the wrong choice now seeing as it will be my first dog, but when I have more experience or the means to fill the needs of the dog… I want to adopt one. Maybe a pit bull. I know it won’t mean much to all the hundreds that face death for just being alive and unwanted, but I really want to. So many amazing dogs are waiting. They just need a chance. <8)

  8. I went to the shelter yesterday. So many well behaved and beautiful pits. No reason to breed them bc they have what you’re looking for.

  9. “Blahblahblah I think I’m a big man and I’m in charge of the world so I would never let my dogs pups get into shelters”
Guess what numbnuts, once those pups leave your hands, their chance of going to the pound increases. Send your responsible owners to the shelters and stop thinking about yourself.

  10. But what happens when his friends dont want the dog anymore or deside to breed their own puppys? Then there are just more dogs for the shelter. This guy just dosnt understandat all :

  11. I adopted 2 beautiful dogs at a dog shelter rather than buying breed dogs cos I no that dogs from dog shelter is not gonna last very long. At least they will last another year of their life or more at home and die in ur house rather than in shelter and I feel sorry for them and more and more dogs come in and no room for them to stay and very sad to see them have to be put down
For all those breed dog owners you have made the wrong choice in choosing a puppy I no there cute but think about it h

  13. The rest of it got cut off cos I’m on iPod touch :( if ur on computer I think u can read the whole comment hopefully

  14. How would u feel if all the dogs in dog shelter have to be put down because too many dogs come in every year and no room for them? I no that the shelter dogs are older age and some dogs have mental problems, that’s not the case. It’s about taking them home to a better place rather than the dogs suffer in shelter for another year. If u had the time to go to dog shelter you’ll feel sorry for them and change ur mind and adopt them
They will change ur life forever
    I adopted one so can u 

  15. Coming from someone who’s sister in law is a certified newf breeder/trainer, this guy is a fucking idiot. Is he willing to take on the responsibility to pick up any one of the dogs part of his dogs litter if they do end up in a shelter? Because that is what a responsible breeder does, they immediately pick them up, and take care of them. I have worked with rottie/pit rescues and it is much better to adopt a rescue. Give them a chance, they need it. I have a pit mix who is a rescue.

  16. Cont. My pit rescue was one of those extreme cases of being afraid of everything. She is a house dog and needs a lot of responsibility to own. She was on the list to be gassed but we rescued her. She is even afraid to go outside. With the help of my sister in law though, we have given her a loving home and I believe if people get the help of a qualified trainer and have the drive, they can be a wonderful owner of a rescue who would otherwise be euthanized.

  17. when he said he new responsible people who would want them i wish i could have told him that “yes, these people sound good for the puppies you want to have…but wouldn’t it be better for them to rescue the ones here? Rather than Add MORE and leave these ones to not make it out alive?”

  18. guys, guys, stop being judgemental little pricks and see beyond the top comment. you can understand that the dude is probably in denial. it’s hard to accept, the reality of the world, harder to accept knowing you’re contributing to it.
