you could do this: …
you could do this: ties the bells to the door and hold a treat in your hand above/behind/next to the bells, it they hit the bells, immediately open the door and start praising. if you have to, you can kinda nudge your dogs head into the bells, and when it makes a sound, the door opens and you praise and take outside. also, ring the bells everytime you open the door for something. it will take a while, so be patient, but it should work
