What are dog obedience classes like?
I’m starting an obedience class with my dog for the first time, and I was just wondering what you really do in it; what’s it like? I know what you’re taught and everything, but I just wanted to know how they teach it to you, etc. Everytime I try to find out on google they only give me ‘does your dog need training? Come here and sign up!’
Can you take two dogs(one puppy and one an adult) to the same obedience training classes?
I have a five year old Jack Russel with very good habits but no official training, I am getting a puppy to be a companion for her because I work during the day. I want to put the puppy in obedience training but I think that my Jack might get alot out of classes as well.

Did your puppy/dog had training or obedience classes?
Yesterday was my puppy’s first day at a Puppy Training class at Petsmart. He’s a 13 week old shih tzu puppy. At first I was a bit hesitant about enrolling my puppy there, but in one of the Petsmarts here in Southern CA, I found the “trainer” of all trainers! She’s the mentor of many Petsmart trainers here in the Inland Empire (California, US). She’s also one of the CGC evaluator. She’s wonderful! The first class was already very helpful and informative! There were 2 other pet trainers in the class, and anyone is free to ask them questions. It was so cool because 2 of the puppies in that class were actually the head trainer’s puppies! Do you have any experiences with Petsmart’s training classes or any other company’s? Did you like their techniques? How was it?!
Should I take my Yorkie puppy to training classes?
I’m getting a new female Yorkie puppy soon and I was wondering if I should take it to the training classes at like PetsMart or some other place. Does it really work?How good is it and what goes on there?Thanks!Love,YorkieLover
Getting a puppy, is this too soon to start puppy training classes?
We are getting our puppy on Sept. 6, she will be a little over 9 weeks old. We found a place that offers puppy socialization and training classes that start Sept. 13. Would we be starting the classes too soon after getting her? We will have only had her for a week. We are doing the obedience training for sure, I just need to know if this would be too soon. And advice/tips? Thanks!

How much are the PETCO puppy training classes?
Also, if you’ve done them before, were they effective?
Petco puppy training classes, are they worth it?
I was just wondering if your puppy actually learned anything from these classes? What did they learn, like what commands? And what was the cost of the classes? I’m getting a schnoodle puppy in April and I’m just wondering if I should pay for the classes or try o teach the puppy myself.

I adopted a 6mos old rescue puppy last week and she is very well mannered, but at least a dozen people have suggested obedience training. She already knows “sit” and “stay” and is house broken. Should I consider obedience training or are most people just cop-outs? And where should I go for such classes? For what it’s worth, I live in Edison, NJ.
Has anyone gone to puppy training classes at Petsmart?
Did they make a difference? Is 15 weeks too old to take my puppy?
